The Brut Card-Keeper takes its form from the language of brutalism and the spirit of Bauhaus. It is heavy in texture, blocky in pattern, angular and sharp. Nothing is hidden, nothing softened. It is an artifact of geometry, a study in proportion and weight, where every plane declares itself with clarity. The Brut is not decoration. It is statement.
Forged from bronze, the oldest alloy of civilizations, this piece is built for permanence. Bronze has armed warriors and raised monuments that endure even when empires fall. It grows richer with time, darkening into a patina that reflects the hand of its bearer, or brightened with polish to reveal its golden warmth. Each mark and softened line becomes part of its individual story.
A strap of hand-crafted goatskin binds the cards in place, chosen for its resilience and longevity. Each strap is shaped and tested by our leather craftsmen, then signed in approval by the Master of Leathers. It is fastened with a buckle designed by AVRA and forged from the same bronze as the Keeper itself. This mechanism is engineered for strength and reliability, offering just enough tension to hold cards with certainty.
To adjust, the buckle is undone as one would a watch strap, set to the hole that brings the right balance for the number of cards you carry. Whether you hold many or few, the band adapts with precision, keeping the rest secure even when a card is drawn. The Brut Card-Keeper holds up to ten cards and folded notes without compromise, serving equally those who carry little and those who carry more.
Each Brut Card-Keeper is engraved with its own serial number, drawn from the House’s private Ledger. It is inscribed by the silversmith who forges it, verified by the Master Silversmith, and confirmed by the Keeper of the Ledger. No number is ever repeated. No record is ever erased.
